Co-living at Commune
Neighbours you actually know

What is co-living?
Co-living is a modern way of renting where you get a private or shared room plus fully furnished common spaces — kitchen, lounge, workspace — and a built-in community, instead of an empty flat and no neighbours you know.
How is Commune different from a regular flat or PG?
A PG gives you a bed. A flat gives you four walls. Commune gives you both, plus a community that's actively curated — events, common spaces people actually use, and neighbours worth knowing.
Who are the typical Communrs?
Young professionals, people new to Gurugram, and anyone who'd rather have a ready-made social circle than start from zero, across tech, consulting and many other fields. We also have a strong community of senior professionals in senior roles at their organisations, who choose Commune for hassle-free living. Communrs are 58% men and 42% women, mostly in their late 20s to early 30s, and the average stay is two years.
Living here
Big nights, quiet mornings

Can friends visit or stay over?
Friends are welcome. Overnight guests are welcome too, with KYC, which is mandatory for everyone staying at a Commune.
What are the house rules?
They're simple, so everyone gets along: quiet hours are 10:30 pm to 7 am, and alcohol isn't allowed in public areas. Your Commune manager will walk you through the rest when you move in.
Are pets allowed at Commune?
Yes, all our Communes are pet-friendly. Our pet policy applies at all times, so everyone, two-legged and four-legged, stays happy. Your Commune team will share it before you move in.
Can I host my own event at Commune?
Yes — Communrs regularly host their own dinners, game nights and workshops in the common spaces. Just loop in your Commune manager to get it on the calendar.
Rent and booking
Meals, Wi-Fi and housekeeping, already in the rent

What's included in the rent?
Furniture, Wi-Fi, housekeeping, utilities (except in-room electricity), buffet breakfast and dinner, weekend lunches, and access to community events are all bundled into the rent. No separate broker fees, no furniture shopping, no maintenance calls to make yourself.
How much do I pay to book, and when is the deposit returned?
To book, you pay a security deposit of one month's rent. It isn't refunded if you cancel before moving in; after you move out, it's refunded within a week, typically before the 7th of the month. Bookings are in your name and can't be transferred to someone else.
Can I visit before booking?
Of course. Book a visit using the form below and we'll confirm a time. Viewing hours are limited so we don't disturb the Communrs who live there.
Moving in and out
Stay a month or stay for years

Is there a lock-in? How does moving out work?
No lock-in and no minimum stay on long stays. You just give one full calendar month's notice (not 30 days). To move out at the end of a month, submit your notice before the 1st of that month. Notice given on or after the 1st means you move out on the last day of the following month. For example, notice by 31 January means moving out on 28/29 February; notice on 5 February means moving out on 31 March.
Can I switch rooms or move to another Commune?
Yes, subject to availability. When a room opens up, existing Communrs get preference.
